Why some incoming calls are going to my personal voicemail?

How to stop iPlum calls going to your personal voicemail?

This generally happens when you have enabled "Voice network mode" for incoming calls.

Voice network mode is a unique feature.  It uses your carrier voice network to make & receive calls to give you best voice quality without relying on internet data (carrier data or wi-fi).

  1. How to Accept or Decline calls in voice network mode?
For your incoming iplum calls you will first see a notification alert informing you about the incoming call followed by an actual ringing tone with a distinct iPlum screen. It is designed to give you a clear indication that it is a business call vs. personal call.
    > You can accept the call by sliding on screen or tapping the green button.
    > If you want to decline the call, do not click the “red decline” button.
Let it ring and it will go to your iPlum voicemail. If you want to stop ringing, gently push the side power button on your device. The ringing will stop immediately and after few seconds, iPlum will route the unanswered call to your iPlum voicemail.

Note: If you tap "red decline" button on the ringing screen, your device may force the call to its native voicemail which is inherent hardware limitation.
  2. Do-Not-Disturb If you have setup Do-Not-Disturb on your physical device, remember to set Do-Not-Disturb in your iPlum settings as well. This will alert iPlum system to route your calls directly to iPlum voicemail before sending it to your phone so that your phone carrier doesn’t force the call to your native voicemail.  You can setup Do not Disturb in iPlum app:
iPlum App Settings  || Do Not Disturb || Set Options.
  3. How Calls Work in Airplane mode?
If you setup Airplane mode on your physical device, remember to setup Do-Not-Disturb in your iPlum setting during that time. This will alert iPlum cloud system to route your iPlum calls directly to iPlum voicemail before sending it to your phone.
iPlum App Settings  || Do Not Disturb || Set Options.
  4. Check if you have blocked your iPlum contact by mistake which may force calls to personal voicemail.
    a) Go to your iPhone/Android native address book & search your iPlum number.  If it shows as a blocked contact, you can either edit that contact to unblock it or delete it even if it says "iPlum created contact, do not delete".
    b) Go to your phone’s native address book & search for word "iPlum" without quotes.  If it shows as a blocked contact, you can either edit that contact to unblock it or delete it even if it says "iPlum created contact, do not delete".
Note: iPlum creates a temporary contact during iPlum call and it will automatically do it when required.
    c) Make sure your iPlum number is not blocked on your phone. iPhone or Android Settings || Phone || Blocked Contacts  (Verify your iPlum number is not listed here)
  5. Verify that your mobile phone does not have any robo call or spam blocking app installed.
Please remove them from your mobile phone. The robo call or spam blocking apps will not allow correct functioning of 2nd line app on the mobile.

I have tried all steps but my iPlum calls are still going to personal voicemail.

Disable voice network mode for incoming calls:

  • iPlum App:
iPlum App Settings  || Call Mode: Voice Network or VoIP Data || Incoming Calls || Use My Wi-Fi or Carrier Data.

OR

  • Online web portal: Login https://my.iplum.com/
Dashboard || Users || Click iPlum Login ID of the User || Settings || Call Mode: Incoming Calls (Edit) || Use My Wi-Fi or Carrier Data

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
